Quad-X are excited to be unveiling their new electric ATV Stock Feeder at Lamma. With feed distributed in spaced out piles, stock stand head-to-head and so there is less trampling and fouling in the feed, meaning less valuable meal is wasted, saving money. When used to feed sheep in lamb, the Stock Feeder helps to save foetal loss in ewes since it does away with the crowding and shoving at the trough and ensures each animal gets a fair chance at the feed. The Quad-X Stock Feeder fits any ATV, jeep or towing vehicle making it a welcome option for any farm or smallholding.
The Quad- X range of mowers, sprayers and booms and weed wipers are a vital tool in maintaining well-kept green pastures. The Quad-X range is designed for and tested to cope with the densest of vegetation including bracken, heather and rushes, which no other machine can deal with. The Quad-X ATV Power Shredder has been designed to shred heavy dense vegetation. Considerable investment has been made in the rotor design which rotates at a higher RPM than a tractor flail ensuring momentum and faster travel speed. The Power Shredder chops the material very finely into a mulch-like matter and spreads it more evenly for faster decomposition and faster regrowth.
Quad-X have evolved their pioneering Weed Wipeout which has become a popular alternative to boom spraying thanks to massive savings on chemical. By targeting only the weeds with herbicide, the grass and clover are left untouched and grass growth rate is not affected.
The innovative patented Wipeout model has a unique weed detection system to save money by only applying chemical when weeds are present, leaving you free to drive and eliminating any guesswork. Two contra-rotating rollers help separate clumps of weeds and apply chemical to the sensitive underside for faster kill. The second roller can also absorb excess chemical to minimise drips.
