Aerator This machinery is used to pierce holes deep into the soil allowing air, fertiliser and water to reach far down.
ATV All-terrain vehicles (ATVs), are off-road

Boom
This equipment is made up of a number of nozzles which when used with a sprayer tank and attached to an ATV or other vehicle applies herbicide to selected areas.

Front Mount System
This piece of equipment attaches to the underside of a quad and forms the base for various accessories to be attached to the front of the quad.
Ground driven
This means that as something is pulled or pushed along the ground, the
rotary motion that is imparted to the wheels is used to run some other
mechanism within the object.
Herbicide applicator
Commonly known as a weed wiper or weed licker this machine applies herbicide directly to weeds without affecting the surrounding area. ideally weeds should be taller than pasture.
Menage grader
This is also known as an arena leveller and is used to level horse arenas/menages.
Recoil
If a product is described as recoil it means it has a pull start mechanism.
Spot Spraying
Refers to the application of herbicide/weed killer using a handlance.
Topping
This is a process by which a mower or similar implement is used to top or remove the aerial part of a crop, in order to prevent seed formation and distribution onto the soil. It can be an effective method of weed control.
UV protection
Products featuring materials with UV proection are protected from damage from sunlight/UV rays.
