The Quad-X ATV Flail mower is designed to pulverise vegetation cutting it into small pieces for faster decomposition.  It is powered by a 16HP or 18HP twin cylinder Briggs and Stratton engine, both of which carry a 2 year warranty. Cutting height is adjustable, from 20mm to 200mm.  The Flail mower is equipped with grass blades as standard.  Optional rush blades are available which allow you to cut in light or moderate rushes, or in areas of vegetation denser than grass.  If you have very heavy rushes or need to cut material such as bracken or heather we would recommend the Power Shredder™ or extreme duty Wildcut™ mower. 
       
By using 3-D finite element analysis on the deck we have been able to design the mower for maximum strength and minimum weight, making it easier to tow and reducing tyre indentation on the ground surface.  Flotation tyres are fitted as standard to give extra stability in difficult and wet conditions.  If you are working in an area where you are restricted for space the versatile side and rear wheel positioning is ideal.  The multiple tow position is also handy in hard to reach areas allowing you to tow the mower directly behind, offset or half-offset.  The Quad-X ATV Flail mower can be used behind any vehicle equipped with a 50mm tow ball thanks to its adjustable tow hitch height.  Debris guards are fitted to give users maximum protection.

4 engine options are available.  These are all v-twin commercial Briggs & Stratton engines and carry a 2 year warranty.  You can choose between 16HP recoil, 16HP electric start (with recoil back-up), 18HP recoil, 18HP electric start (with recoil back-up).
Grass blades are fitted as standard with optional rush blades available.
